Called back.....no answer. These calls are so aggravating. WHY are they allowed to call people on the Do Not Call List? I just don't answer unfamiliar numbers but have children who travel and worry it might be them. BUT have decided if it's important, they will leave a message.
Also; Digital-TV (DTV) had nothing to do with President Obama, DTV was pushed forward by the FCC after 911 as they needed to free up 800MHz for the national deployment of inter federal agency emergency communications program. That’s why TV, CDMA, TDMA cellular and wireless microphone frequencies had to change.
Im a baby boomer we listen to that stupid message if we have an emergency blah blah blah.I didn't hear a thing 911 when the Country was under attack.My ex wife worked for the Post Office and I had to notify them what was going on.
Amen evidently people on here are salesman for these phones.I dont own a cell phone and never will.By the way the scammers are using verizon changing simm cards.Or there using computers.Alot of the numbers are all 0's you cant block that.I really like the person that gets on these complaint sites and sell's panasonic phones he's no better than the scammers
In 2011, depending on the area... Everything was useless... Landlines and cell phones alike. I remember coming in and out of the Harvest area to go to work. It was odd.
If you had an old fashioned telephone line, usually called POTS, they can assist if power is out with a corded phone. Unfortunately, many more companies are moving to Internet telephone.... This is fine for everything except for outages...
In many ways, the cell phone structures are becoming much more reliable than the traditional landlines due to the lack of POTs availability/ being phased out.
Also, keep in mind that many, many people are working/going to school, etc... Less and less time at home... No missing important calls.
