I let all unrecognized or unidentified numbers go to my machine, they hung up without leaving a message. Never EVER give financial info to anyone who calls you.

Contact your phone provider about "selective call rejection". When you add a number to your "reject" list, anyone calling from that number just gets a recording that you do not accept calls from that number. Your phone never rings!

called with automated message saying to hit 1 to lower your credit card interest rate. So i hit 1 and a real quiet mans voice said
Mastercard /Visa credit card service. Knowing this was fake I asked him which one is it master card or visa? And what was the name of your company?
He hung up.
