I received a call from this number today. We don't answer calls like this one, and terminate them quickly so I don't know for sure who it was from. I wonder if they were trying to imply POTUS (president of the United States) by their ID. Sometimes these phone scammers don't have the brains of a house fly.
I received a call at 06:40 today. They left the following message; "Pre-recorded messages to notify you that IRS has issued an arrest warrant against you. Right now you and your physical property both are being monitored and it's very important that I do hear back from you as soon as possible before we proceed further in any legal manner. My direct call back number is 206-483-0008. Again the number is 206-483-0008, thank you." If any of you receive a call like this please register it as spam. These people will threaten you and try to extort your personal information so that they can use your personal information for identity theft. Please do not become a victim, the IRS never corresponds by phone they only correspond by mail.
