You can if you have an Androide cell phone. The App is called "tcallBlocking". There is a free version in which you can block up to 3 ph. numbers and then a full version that costs $2.00, allowing you to block unlimited numbers. I just bought the full version to use the wild card. By using the wildcard, you can block an entire area code by entering <206*>.
I have been getting the same calls from various different "206" area code numbers, so I found this App and it has been working for me.
Just got a call from this number as well. What does American politics have to do with little old me in Nova Scotia, Canada? I tried to disconnect politely but she'd not hear of it so I had to rely on my old fall back. Her ears are likely still ringing from the sound of the whistle I blew.
I received calls from variations of this area code and number as well. i suggest that you do not call the number back. I have heard beeps like something was being faxed to dead silence. They must have received my number from someone else as they call my work,my cell and my work cell number. Just annoying.
