Very simple .... get an answering machine (they are cheap) and never never answer a call from a number you do not recognise .... if it is important they will leave a message .

These people claim to be an independent marketing survey, asking to do a 30 second survey and then offering a free two day cruise in the carribean after the survey that is supposed to cost some money. They called my house and hung up over 35 times in a half hour stretch .... there are no people on the phone only an automated voice if you answer it
I agree that these scam artists should be caught and prevented from aggravating people. Obviously, they are successful enough of the time to make a very substantial profit. As the old saying goes, there's a sucker born every minute.
They tried calling earlies today on my home phone. Did not leave a message. when i call backed the message that this number is unavaible. I new this was a scam. The voice on the recording is foreign. Im on the don not call list.
