I have also received calls from a party indicating that they are conducting a political survey and are giving away a cruise vaction, you only have to pay taxes. Call a spade a spade. File a complaint against the party as a violation under the Do Not Call List as selling unsolicited cruise vacations, do not mention the bogus survey. Let them prove to the authorities that they are a bona fide survey service hired to conduct surveys or face the consequences!
I answered the call it was a computer generated call wanting me to answer a few questions and in return they offered a free vacation to the bahamas or bermuda or somewhere...I hung up.
I have the power to just hit the off button, and never have to worry about it until they call the next time... I just do the same thing... over and over... until they get the message. Unfortunately there are soo many robo calls out there that you dont know who is legit and who isnt. You would think the Canadian Gov't would step in before it gets out of hand and people stop taking calls seriously... You can't trust nobody but yourself this day and age...
