Who called from 2065084014

Merchant verification department. Valid call, he had info for a large purchase I had just made.

The same exact thing happened to me.  I had ONE fraudulent charge after verifying my name, minutes later.  I canceled the card immediately.

My credit card had a fraudulent purchase after the phone call.  And I gave this number to Amazon and it was verified that this number is NOT NOT NOT Amazon.  They are verifying pieces of info, connecting name to card and bam they make a charge.  They have access to Amazon's order numbers and this scam has even been using the same number for over a year as far as these comments illustrate.  This disgusts me.

I had the exact same experience.  My account was tested for a $10 purchase.

yea and now they will make charges on your credit card, congrats.  They are NOT Amazon.
