Since March 19, 2009, I have had phone calls from the following NCO Financial "phone numbers."

For one of these calls, I was able to speak with someone. They were wishing to speak with someone who does not live at my phone number and it was a name that I do not know.
NCO is based in Horsham, PA, with an office in Quebec, Canada. I have called back the numbers plus spoken to the home office in PA. Every time they tell me my home phone number is not in their database. Finally, they agreed to go into their system manually to remove my phone number.

Called at 4:15pm on 7-20-09. Rang phone but wasn't home and they didn't leave a message. Caller ID showed NCO. Number comes back to NCO Financial or NCO Group of Horsham, PA. They are a very large collections agency with call centers all over the world, including India and the Philippines. There are literally hundreds of complaints concerning their abusive tactics and violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. In May of 2004, they were fined 1.5million dollars by the FTC for falsely reporting inaccurate information concerning debts to the credit bureaus. In 2006, they were fined $300,000.00 by the Attorney General of Penn. for over 800 complaints of them violating the FCRA as well. They are notorious for dredging up old debt that has already been settled and there are also many complaints of them trying to collect on totally fictitious debt.
Called, looking for Nina. Told them there is no one by that name that this is a personal cell phone. I informed them to remove my number from their database. They have refused to do so. Still calling my cell phone.
