They have called me multiple times in the past few days. Everytime I answer, no one ever answers back. I waited five minutes the last time they called and no one ever said a word. I could hear people talking in the background and I kept saying hello but no one ever said a word. I called the number back and the first time they just hung up on me and the second time I called, a guy answered and told me that he did not call my number. He also said that he had just changed carriers. That doesn't make any sense considering that when I looked up the number online, a debt collection agency came up. It was very weird. I don't understand why they are calling me.
Just called, no one spoke. I called back and a lady who was very polite said it was Capital One. Every post here says its NCO, a collections agency. Either Capital One purchased this number or she was lying. Very interesting, I do not bank with Capital One nor do I owe anyone any money.
When I get a call from these a**holes, I do what it takes to get one of them on the phone. Then, I pick up the ref's whistle I keep next to the phone, & blow as hard & long as I can until I get a hang up.
It is a small thing, but feels good. You should try it!!
PS They got the wrong guy: I owe no money to anyone.
Over and Over again sometimes 8 to 10 times a day they call my business repeatedly and I have stated this is a business phone remove me from your list only to receive another call 10 minutes later. They are always looking for someone name carrie. What can I do? I've resorted to telling them to hold and I'll get her and see how long before they hang up. I know this is a collection agency but I have no debt.
I get a call from this number all day long everyday. Im not sure who it is and it this point dont give a [***]. I am one of the statistics you hear about on the news everynight... lost my job a year ago because my company sent a bunch of work overseas. and havent been able to find work since. I lost my apartment and now have to live with a parent, which i hadnt done in over 18 years.. my vehicle has been repoed.. so quite frankly i give a [***].. The ironic thing is our tax money has been given to most of these banks to bail them out and they used it for bonus's, vacations and free operating costs for their companys and nobody is harrasing them everyday..
I think we the american people are the dumbasses for letting these things happen to us.. people who are lucky enough not to lose their jobs look the other way... and make uneducated comments about why they still have their job.. when the truth is its only luck that you still have your job nothing more. My mothers neighbor at her apartment complex is an Electrical Engineer with a masters degree and over 25 years of experience in his field and used to make over 100,000 a year.. guess what.. non of that mattered he lost his job and has been looking for a new one for longer than i have.. the only difference is that mans wife is a nurse and still has her job.. so he is taken care of.
think before you make coments about who has and doesnt have their finance's straight.. because tomorrow it could be you that i am making fun of because you missed a payment... yup now your the trailer park loser who cant pay their bills.. [***] waste of flesh you should hang yourself and save the rest of the decent world the tax dollars.
