just got a call from this #, tons of intereference so I couldn't make out what they were saying. Tried to tell them to call back & leave a msg. they kept talking so I hung up.
definitely some sort of scam. i did a little research on this number, and it seems as if it's not anything legit. all the stories i've seen that this number calls and tells the caller seem to be either the same or similar stories. if they call back, tell them they're full of [***].
I got a call on 8-9-08 at 11:45 PM and the caller id said City of Seattle...with the number 206-733-9378. It ran three times and when I answered all I got was a dial tone...so I was assuming it was a wrong number, but from the city in the middle of the night? Instead of calling it back I had my friend look up the number and found this site.
