Got a call from this number at work on 2-7 at 17:22. Didn't answer, message was from someone Dept. of Neighborhoods, City of Seattle. Looks like this one's been figured out!
It is a scam. They are using a mixer to copy a line number through a pdx exchange for a legit Seattle number. They call and say it is a 911 call that you accidentally made, but then they try to mix in or copy your cell as their outbound billing number. If you get a call from this number, don't answer it and don't be so gullible. Any legit call you should be able to ask for their name, dept and address and if they hesitate, you know they are a scammer. I used to investigate scams. The other popular one was the guy that calls you at home and offers to sell you carbon credits at $1.00 a piece and explains how many you need to balance out your car based on what you drive. He sells you a month, six months or a year's worth for anywhere from $10 - $100 or more. The Seattle Libs are so gullible, they sign up and give their credit card number and they get hosed. They have bought nothing, just gave away money to a scammer, but they believe they did something good for the environment and so they don't feel ripped off even though there is no company, just a scammer. People need to not believe all they hear.
Mother %*&^@$?! They call every &^%$#@* day! Don't buy in to thier $%*&! If I ever find out who is behind this, I swear I'll hang'em from their phone cord! How about I come to your %$#@*&# house and hove my phne up your @##! Piece of #$%& scammer!
