I received an automated call saying I was being sued by the IRS. I called T# 1-206-801-5201 back from my cell# and asked to speak with the supervisor and they promptly hung up. I hope the IRS knows this is happening and I actually will be contacting the IRS to let them know. DO NOT GIVE INFORMATION TO 1-206-801-5201!
This number has called three times on my cell today. The first time was listed as 'unknown' so I didn't pick up but did hear the voice mail. Then I came here to confirm that it's a scam. The second occurrence, this afternoon, the number was listed as '20 68 015 201' which confused me but still didn't pick up and blocked the number. The third occurrence, this evening, the number was '206-801-5201'. Leaving the same voice mail about them being the IRS, so I have blocked the version of that number also. You scammers just won't win!!!
I just got two message today too, which were cut off but talked about a law suit. Thanks for this site - no wasted time and stomach acid talking to scam artists. I dealt with the real IRS as well - always by mail.
