I use an Intelescreener between my phone & the phone jack. It blocks these annoying calls, up to 75 of them. It costs less than $100. An internet search will show where to buy one.
If you have a smartphone, you can add the number to your contact list as something like "scamIdiots", then change the ring to Silent just for that contact. If you have a voip home phone, you might be able to block it through the online configuration page. Otherwise, you should call your phone service provider and ask about blocking the number.
