My wife Received this called from Interstae locating service. Said they had a complaint and i had to call back in a certain amount of time or it would be served as a warrant. Wife asked what the complaint was,her name was Bree something...Said she had it in front of her but she couldnt open it....sound like a big bunch of [***] to me.. Everyone I know can get intouch with me...My wife was at a upstairs phone and couldnt see the id...We never answer phone if we dont know the number except this one time..Smells fishy and [***] to me
You are clear in your understanding that this is a scam, right? There is no debt. No "case number", no one is coming to arrest you and you are NOT going to jail. This is an ugly scam designed to scare you into paying money you do not owe.
Do not talk to these people. Do not call them back and try to reason with them, they will keep calling and the threats will increase and become more personal. Block the calls. Check the info here:

Woman called looking for my ex's father. Which I thought was weird. I told her I had no contact with him and she repeated it back to me. I asked her why she called my number and she said because he had listed me... (even more weird.. this guy has 6 sons to list, how did they get mine) so i asked her what it was about and she said she had 2 sealed envelopes and couldn't tell me what was in them. I asked her what was is pertaining to.. she then hung up on me. I tried calling her back but she just hangs up my call. I'm going to keep bugging her for wasting my time :)
They keep calling my dad there is a complaint on my husband and if my husband don't return their calls he will have a warrant for his arrest and he will be subpoenaed to go to court. They won't give us any info on the complaint or anything else.
They call my phone continuously, I don't answer, now they call my dad and tell him they have a summons for me in my old married name...I refuse to call back
