Valid call from USAA, was a message from my home equity adviser who is working on the closing documentation for my new house. The person who called is specifically who i have been working with (for about a month) regarding my closing. She requested no call back.
I got one as well last Saturday as someone has gotten pin numbers from Michael's craft stores and trying to retreive cash from ATM's but USAA will keep calling you at all your numbers to report to you so if this number doesn't speak to you directly - probably is a scam!!!
There were a couple of suspicious transactions on my credit card today and USAA Security called to verify. They left their 866-550-5678 number (press 2 then press 3) which is legit. I called back and confirmed the charges were not mine (they said they've seen the two charges on other accounts also) so now I have to get a new credit card from them. I also looked at my account online to see the charges (ROYAL FLASH UENO and SEVEN SISTERS UENO) which totalled over $900.
