I have been receiving calls from them as well. I have asked for the cause number and other things. No information was given. I do believe that the people saying positive things are from their site. How dare judge someone's situation. I keep getting collection calls for my brother who was 26 and passed away.. he only had a cold. These people will not take that answer or his obituary and death certificate. There is another one that keeps calling from california.
I actually spoke to the Leah Maxwell on yesterday, decided to just google the number to check scam reports. She did tell that I had a court summons that would be placed on the calender in my county. Whether or not this is true, the actual debt that she informed me was due was actually valid. I went ahead and set up arrangements. I received an emailed receipt and was told that I would get a copy of my arrangements in the mail, I did receive the email in a timely manner. Because, just like KJ and the others on here I was concerned about whether I was paying a scammer, I feel better knowing that she actually did what she said the company would do in regards to settling the debt. KJ, if you were contacted, its because you owe someone money that you didn't pay back. You shouldn't be online calling a person doing there job a scam if you scammed a lending institution yourself. I believe in being accountable for my actions and the only thieves are the people on here dodging debt, which is why YOU were contacted in the first place. As a business owner myself, I hate it when people use online resources to tear down the reputation of other companies or people. KJ pay your damn bills, police don't do research on companies with no proof of a scam, ESPECIALLY if you DID NOT PAY!!!! I would know because my dad is a sheriff. What you should be researching is the debt you owe and a way to pay it instead of costing businesses money that were kind enough to lend you money when you needed it , F***ing up the US economy even more, and basically making it harder for the rest of Americans who need to borrow money when they need it.
Nice way for a sheriffs child to speak with all those F words in there and I keep getting called a do not owe. Maybe you should not judge everyone like that. You think a sheriff knows the law I don't know they went to law school and got their degree and passed the bar exam.
