Come on, people, use your head. It doesn't do any good to report this to the government, possibly because the government is already in bed with the credit card companies and since you don't have as much money to bribe Congress as the banks do, you lose. With a prefix of 000, you have to know it's a scam/ spoofed number and the government can't trace a fake number. Of course, they can't do much right, anyway, but this number is not real. The DNC does not protect you from anything and so many gullible people seem to have touching faith that the government is watching over them, keeping them safe. Grow up for goodness sake!
I just got a call from this number. Some female recorded voice saying something about some service agreement on my credit card needed attention and to push a number on the phone (I forget which number). I immediately hung up and searched the phone number in Yahoo, which brought me here.
I am also on the do-not-call lists. Gonna contact the State AG Office too.
Caller ID displayed New York and the number. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. If I don't recognize the number I do not answer it.
