I filed a complaint - that was the federal trade commission. he also suggested that I file a complaint with Consumer Protection Agency and The Better Business Bureau. The only way for them to investigate is if alot of people take 5 minutes to file their complaint and the numbers add up. So even if you were scamed for a small amount please file a complaint. I'm out $128 bucks!! Arghhh
This is so sad. I went there about 3 months ago. The place was horrible!Small cramped rooms full of trash, no ac, random out-dated posters and headshots thumb tacked to the walls, a flatscreen blasting in the room before Brad's "office".
I knew this place was sooo sketch, but I figured I might as well stay and hear what the guy had to say since it took me 45 mins and $4 to get there.
This poor kid was in the sitting room with me and I asked him a few questions while I was waiting..he had already given the guy $250 for headshots and thought it was a good deal! He said Brad was going to take them himself right then and there. WTF?!
He told the guy he was going to send him out to csi and gossip girl, telling him that he had real potential and a great look. This poor kid was incredibly self conscious, overweight, and had bad acne. I know that sounds harsh..but come on.
After talking with "Brad" I knew this was a major scam, it was nearly impossible to get out of there! He kept trying to charm and convince me to give him money. I told him "Im just not interested" and he proceeded to hustle me out through his labyrinth-like back room full of junk where his photography "studio" was and slam the door behind me.
Has anyone who gave him money even received headshots from him?
I tried to cal today to get the head shots!! The girl left me on hold for 5 minutes each time i called. After the 3rd time - i finally said i know this is a scam and the least youcan do is provide what i paid for. My headshots!! She hung up the phone again..i called 4 times in a row..finally she got tired of me calling and opted to react different. She gave me an awful ghetto attitude and told me that she said earlier my photos would be there Thursday and that I should wait for the email.
I noticed on my receipt - that the company has a stamp with the words Photographers, Inc. and a little not that reads:"We are not responsible for photos left after 30 days / No refunds on any deposits or amounts that are paid"
