I went on craiglist and apply for being an extra on two ads and they call me to model and i dont even remember signing up for it. the girl hastily try to set up an appointment. It sounded like the same girl but there were two different numbers and they gave me the same location but a different suite. im so happy i type in their addresses and found this. Thank you!

I answered an ad in Craigslist for extras for a boat scene in Manhattan paying $100.00 for the day. I scheduled an appointment, then did this search and found all of your comments. Thanks for posting! I will not be showing up for my appointment!
I just got off them phone with "World Model Talent." An older black-accented woman was on the other end who wanted to setup an interview. She said that there were casting calls 'all day long,' and that I could make an appointment anytime between 10:00AM and 6:00PM. I chose a time (not actually committed to attend until I looked up the company), and tried to ask for the agency's name. She hesitated for a few seconds, then simply said 'W.M.T.' very quickly. After she hung up, I simply entered the number on Google and it brought me here. I guess I won't be attending the appointment. :)
P.S. Be careful with sites like Craigslist when looking for casting calls: they charge very little, sometimes not at all, to post advertisements. Credible sites like ExploreTalent or similar services have hundreds of listings in the local area, but charge a fee to include authentic casting calls -- money that WMT doesn't have.
someone called me from this world model talent and after the first conversation that seemed to be really rushed, after we hung up i had a few questions so i called back, first i asked if they will be charging me a monthly bill for their services of 400 a month and the lady said yes and then when i responed with a ooo i dnt think ill b able to do this she then changed it to a no contract no fee...already very fishy and then i came to this website, thanks so much to everyone who posted on here you guys saved me getting up ealry tomro and waisting 4.50 on the train fare!! the number they gave me was 212 268 8013
I responded to a similar ad on craigslist and knew it seemed a little fishy. I was even more skeptical when I received a call the next morning, I asked the heavily accented women to send me a confirmation on my appointment when she responded that "she did not have a computer." A casting agency without a computer?" do they keep their files on toilet paper? well after that I decided to do some research and found all of your warnings. My boyfriend had applied for something three years ago on craigslist and was directed to that scum of the earth, Brad. I can't believe these people are still in operation. What will it take to get this low life company shut down?
