NUMBER called this morning I answered it said goodbye I tried to phone back it said not in service a half an hour later phone rang again same number I answered Indian woman said computer issues need to go in your computer I went along HOWEVER THE SENIOR WHO LIVES HERE DOES NOT HAVE A COMPUTER I STILL WENT ALONG WITH IT I THEN SAID I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT THE WOMAN BECAME FURIOUS AND SAID YOU WASTED MY TIME SO I SCREAMED REAL LONG THEN SHE HUNG UP
Barely intelligible. No company stated. Just giving orders. Telling me to go to my computer and look for corrupted files. They have called four times in two days.
They keep calling my number for someone named Susan whom I do not know. I asked them to stop and told them I don't know this person. They responded, "We will keep calling" and hung up on me. They called again and I specifically asked to be put on their "DO NOT CALL list". It's been days and they are still calling. Funny thing is I've had this number 9 months and never got these calls until 2 months ago. Never give my number out.
These are cybercriminals intent on getting control of your computer and stealing your identity. They have NO intention of stopping the calls. The more you engage them, the more they will call. Invest in a call blocker. You can buy one from Amazon which will block numbers from this and multiple area codes at a nominal cost.
They kept calling me s finally I answered the phone. Claimed to be a company called Techno Service and I had virus on my computer, someone trying to hack into it and steal my info. As I wasn't home, she gave me number to call back with a CA area code while calling from 212 area code. Techno Service is a company dealing with refurbishing.
