I received a call from this number with caller id of McGraw Hill. The man with a heavy accent was telling me about bad viruses on my computer. I hung up on him.
I got the same call from 212-438-7895 and demanded that I get a number to reach them back. They gave a number 1866 539 8674 and a name; Mr. Harry Williams. Such an American name for a foreigner with a heavy Indian accent?? So I call back to make him think that I would follow his instructions but instead calmly told him that I knew this was a scam after spending approximately 1/2 an hour asking him several questions...
The guy blew up and told me to F*CK OFF several times before hanging up.
This is the second time in a week we have received a call from these people. They claim there is a virus on our computer and if we open it up they will help us. Sure they will.
