Got a call 5 minutes ago stating that he found my lost credit card. When I asked the dude who he was, he told me I was harrassing him and hung up on me.
This has got to be some sort of scam. They called trying to solicit home improvement work. We actually had some work that needed to be done so I followed up. But, the further we went into the conversation, the more suspicious I got. They started asking questions that I had seen before on loan applications. I quickly hung up on the guy.
Someone should really investigate these people for identity theft. I don't know how they got my info in the first place.
Actually as part of a marketing scheme or perhaps a criminal thing they are trying to find out when you are home & when they can either try to talk you into a fraud - or possibly try to find out if nobody is at your home so they can burglarize your home
