The same has been happening to me. When I called back it said the number has been disconnected. The strange thing, however, is that the number that they say has been disconnect is (215)922-3253. I then searched that number and came to a list of people who had received a toll free call from various numbers (the 215 number was on the list). They said it was a recording calling to say that they wanted to speak with them about debt. I have never had any debt or even been late with a payment. Pretty much just continue to ignore the phone call.
I got a call from that number and was told the person was calling from "Institutional Investor" and they need information to complete my free subscription. I said I wasn't interested, but I found this page by Googling the number because something seemed strange.
I also keep receiving calls from someone at 2132322307 who says that they are with Institutional Investor magazine. They won't stop calling although I've stated that we're not interested. When I tried to call the number, it sent me to a disconnected message.
Wow, this guy has been calling me all day. Googled the number, and pulled to this forum with lots of other people with the same problem. Glad I know now it's some spam.
