This number just called me. I answered once, no response on the other end. I will never answer again. Because of the economy there are hundreds of scams and fake bill collectors out there trying to make money.
I got the same call. I started asking him some questions about what district it was and what the file number was and he got irate and I told him the acll was traced and recorded and he hung up on me.
I wanted to let everyone know that I also recieved this call yesterday and asked for verification of the debt, the man stated once I paid it he would send this information and I hung up this morning I went to the bank and confirmed I never reciveved a loan and so I called the FTC and filed a complaint as well as looking up the phone number on the BBB site they have no company under the number I recived this IS A SCAM DO NOT PAY THEM contact the FTC and BBB and inform the guy you have done so.
Just wanted to let you know I received the same call, however he knew all of my personal infor ie dob and ss#. I closed out my bank and notifyed police. His number came up as Intl. Number 816-412-9054. The number he gave for me to call him says it is a American Credit Services from California. By bank called him. He wouldn't give them any info.
