Donotcall.GOV works! I reported a number to donotcall.GOV. A few months later, Ohio State Attorney General office contacted me, because they took the caller to court. Finally, I received a $200 check from OSAG office.
donotcall appears to be underfunded or unwilling to do anything about even the worst offenders. The law is good, theoretically; but lack of any enforcement renders the whole thing meaningless.
That is the problem in a nutshell. There are lots of laws "on the books" that nobody is enforcing and thew lame dick in the white house keeps trying to pass more of his executive orders. That should soon be coming to an end hopefully as well as his term in office.
