Donotcall.GOV works! I reported a number. Then, Ohio State Attorney General office contacted me, because they took the caller to court. Eventually, I received a $200 check from OSAG.
I got a call from this number yesterday 6/5/15 on my cell phone. I am not a Verizon customer. I used to be. I left them when my last contract expired and now have Consumer Cellular with no contracts and I am able to change my calling plan as often as I wish to make sure I am only paying for time I actually use. Since I owe Verizon no money, they paid me the credit balance on my account after I left them. I was paying over $100.00 a month for one phone with Verizon. With Consumer Cellular I most generally pay less than $40.00 for 2 phones. I would never go back to Verizon. It pisses me off they would call my cell phone. I didn't answer the call and I have blocked their number as I don't intend to "ever" do business with Verizon again. Plus I get a discount with Consumer Cellular because I am an AARP member, which is something else Verizon doesn't offer.
