Caller ID came through as Los Angeles CA, didn't answer. Based upon comments here, I've added it to Call Block. There must be hundreds of these "Windows/Microsoft" scammer call centers in India/Pakistan based upon the number of calls I've received over the past 3-4 years. I've even told them I know they are scammers. There must be a lot of easy marks out there.
A man with a thick Indian accent called and said he could help my computer run faster. He asked if I was home and if I could turn on my computer. He claimed to be tech support for Microsoft. I'm sure Microsoft tech people don't randomly call people to help them improve their computers out of the goodness of their hearts. Block this number. With all these complaints for this number is anything being done to stop these guys committing cyber crimes?
same thing heavy accent. Said he was from microsoft. I told him to take that diaper he has on his head find the nearest tree and hang his self. Also told he is a terrorist and was reporting his number to the police. He hung up at that point.
