I love your response I got a call like that the other day and I said "Really well hang on a second and I then went and got a whistle and blew it as hard as I could into the phone ha-ha
Thick Indian man also called my number. Told a bunch of repeated explesives adding words like "with your sister, mother, etc." and murmured broken English. Never came to the point of telling who he was, beside trying to say he was from "my car company". Of course I didn't believe it, when he realized I already figured him out instantly he hung up. Scam absolutely.
This number is a scam they infected my other computer and I recently had to get another. They just called again DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!! Hopefully some people read this before it is too late but do not give them any information they are scammers.
SCAM!!! Called my cell phone and said they were a technician. Indian accent. He was giving me "steps" to follow on my computer. I pretended to follow his instructions (I was no where near a computer during this call! Lol) When I couldn't describe what was "on my screen" you could tell he was getting frustrated. He asked "WHAT ARE YOU SEEING ON YOUR SCREEN NOW?" I said "Nothing. Stop trying to scam me. Good-bye." And I hung up the phone.
I received a call today and the lady with the thick accent said she was with Microsoft and was getting messages from my computer. I told her she wasn't, she said they were. Ya, I was messing with her a bit. She said my computer was registered with them, I said it wasn't. I had to get back to what I was doing so I hung up on her.
A man saying he was from "Windows Technical Support" was calling from this caller id number on Feb 25. He had an India accent. I told him never, ever to call my number again.
