I have received 2 calls after business hours asking for my dad's date of birth. When I asked for there number so I could call Apria during business hours they said they did not have that number right now. This is a scam. My dad does use Apria/Coram, so I wonder where they are getting all this info from. Is Apria not guarding our info closely enough?
Missed a call fom this number but they wouldn't leave a message. I called back and got an error message that my call cannot go through. I read other posts stating it was Apria billing dept. We get supplies from them (billed through our health insurance). Someone called my husband from this number last week trying to get his personal info, stating they needed it for insurance. He refused to provide it and called the "real" Apria who stated no one called him and that it was a phising scam.
Caller wanted to confirm my mother's birthdate - she said why do you need my birthdate and they said they already had it, the were just confirming it - so she asked them what it was and they had the year wrong so she hung up - hmmm is right
They(Apria Healthcare) called in an unprofessional manner asking for my birthday to verify for insurance.
I couldn't hardly understand them with the noise in the background and they couldn't speak english good. I told them to tell me what they had on file and I would verify. They didn't know what to say so I ended the call
My mom jut got a call from this number today and was saying they were Apria health care and then she called apria and told them what the guy wanted. it is a huge scam
