I have received 2 calls after business hours asking for my dad's date of birth. When I asked for there number so I could call Apria during business hours they said they did not have that number right now. This is a scam. My dad does use Apria/Coram, so I wonder where they are getting all this info from. Is Apria not guarding our info closely enough?
Get this, guy can't speak english, more to the point like had mush in mouth. Wanted my Social because of improper billing, but he was recording it. I hope he was over 18 cause I gave him something to put on youtube to hear. They couldn't even make it sound real but I guess that is why they are in business to steal ID's.
Received similar call. They haven't learned their lesson. A woman with a pronounced Latino accent made the call seeking information regarding identity. I suspect ID scam. Please do not disclose your personal data. They new my name and telephone number but apparently that is all.
My mother does use Aprea/Coram health services. Didn't recognize this number though. My caller ID showed: "Upstream"...what is "Upstream?" ....so, I didn't answer. I returned their call and received a recording that my call couldn't be completed as the number is not in service. So, I immediately called Coram, on their toll-free number, and received a recording their offices were closed. Usually, if Coram cannot reach me on my landline they'll call my mobile phone. Tonight, they didn't call my mobile phone. Is this an imposter???
