i got a call from a wmn claims they had a case i had my atty to look in to this .... need less to say they are in fact a law office they actually sue ..
I returned a blocked call number of (213) 458-7005 a male voice African American answered " Law firm" and that's when I became suspicious of the call, because he did not say what law firm that he represented nor his name. I'm sick and tired of these sorry behind people calling me..
I also received a call from these people. I was given 2 numbers to return the call too. The 213 # is in Los Angeles & goes direct to the desk of Mr. Derrick Smith. My call was regarding a payday type loan i took out over 5 years ago. However, I do believe this is a real law firm. The name of the firm I was given was C. Oliver Winslow. Will research further & see if I can find anything more.
Did you read the other posts in this thread? The ones who have already verified that this is a scam? You're the only one who can verify if you had a payday loan five years ago and whether or not you paid it back, but in any event, someone cold calling you is likely to be a scammer. If you give them money, you deserve to lose it, after all the reports of this being a scam.
