the reason you keep getting calls is because MOST people never bother to report them to the DNC website - You did not mention that you have filed a complaint. If you did great - IF YOU DID NOT - DO IT NOW!
THE GOVERNMENT CANNOT DO ANYTHING UNTIL THEY RECEIVE HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS.
Most will come here and post their complaint - but thats it.
Just look at how many people that post "STOP CALLING ME" here. Like that is really going to do any good. But they actually think that is how you "FILE A COMPLAINT" with the government to stop it.
Just look at the number of posters who claim they do not know who or how to complain - while at the same time claim to be on the DNC list. Yet never think to go to the DNC website and file the complaint - "ITS TOO HARD" OR "ITS TOO MUCH TROUBLE" EXPECT SOMEONE ELSE HAS TO DO IT FOR ME
Receiving ongoing calls from 213-537-1439. Each and every time I answer, they hang up. Have since decided NOT to answer them any longer and have saved the number into my cell phone under "TELEMARKETER - Do NOT Answer". Have done the same with past numbers as well, as it has saved me a lot of time from wondering who the heck is calling me at 3 AM. These calls are coming at all hours of the day and night, so I'm guessing it's an automated system. As my cell number is listed on the Do-Not-Call list, I WILL be reporting these ongoing disturbance calls immediately.
Call from 213-537-1439 was received with nobody answering there, i called back and there is only a voicemail prompting "extension 6005 is not available" invites to left a message, when dial "0" to connect the operator a recording prompt "the number 213-537-1439 is not in service"..
Telemarketer for free magazines. Calls everyday about the same time. I did answer one time and said I was the brother of the person they wanted. Told them his business is shut down and he no longer wants magazines. They go upset and said will call back more.
