Got a call from these guys. For the past 2 weeks they would call my business line, and when I picked up they would hang up. Finally today someone answered on the other end and it was for a trade magazine renewal that I currently subscribe to. I asked the representative about all of the hangups after one ring, etc. She said that their "dialing computer" dials a number of calls at the same time, and when one answers, the others hang up. She said sometimes it may take several seconds for it to hang up, so some people think someone is on the other end, when there actually isn't anyone there. BTW this representative wasn't nasty, just with a foreign accent. Hope this helps everyone out.
213-537-1439 - Just like before, these people have started calling my cell phone nonstop... AGAIN.
Even if I would decide to answer, which I don't anymore, they would just hang up on me anyways.
Luckily, I don't hear it when they call anymore since I saved their number(s)
into my phone under 'Telemarketer-Do NOT Answer' and put a Silent ringtone for them.
Found that they called my cell number 12 times between 4 AM CST and 1 PM CST today. 4 AM!?
Guess it's time to contact the Attorney General's office in California and
see what they have to say about this gross violation of the Fed's DNC list...
A guy called up just now asking for the CEO (my a mispronounced name) and stated his own name was "Kevin Gonzales". His speech was barely understandable. When I asked for the name of the company he represented he snapped back with "have you ever heard of confidential ma'am?" I in return snapped back at him that our CEO will not take random calls with out full details of who/what/where from, etc. He exhaled sharply and grunted "f*ck you" at me before hanging up. We collect the numbers and know who is not legit. If these jerks call again, BEWARE!!!! You are messin' with THE WRONG MARINES!!!!
