I'm a business in San Jose CA & I typically answer calls in CA as my cell caller ID states, this one hung up when I answered, Skype on the other hand is strange & could be from anywhere... if this is a problem (FYI) you can go to your phone subscriber log in on the internet & type this number in where noted to not take calls from this number; i had to do this a few times... kept gett'n calls from bum-**** India twice a day trying to sell me erection stimulant pills LOL :-)
Same deal (immediate disconnect), but I will report it to the FCC with the details. I've gotten the same scam from different numbers, so ignore and report, I suggest.
I am on the Do Not Call List. In general, the only people who have my number are friends, family and places with which I have legitimate business. I usually do not answer calls from anyone not in my contact list - no name, no answer. I figure if they are legitimate, they will leave a name, number and brief message so I can call them back. This call was not from a contact and there was no voice mail left.
I like your style. String them along, keep them on the phone as long as possible, give them no info. I do the same. Although sometimes I unleash an ungodly string of profanity until they hang up on me. I consider it free therapy.
