For all of you whining about the do not call registry, read the site again. It does not cover political parties, charities or surveys. These scanners have done their research. If you call them back they tell you to hit 2 to not be called with surveys again. It just loops the same message. If you hit 1 it starts the 3 question survey about the political parties but no transfer cause supposedly the time is up on the survey. What they are in violation if is using an automated machine & a recording to call you. Even if not on the Do not call registry that's a no no
FYI- The Do Not Call list only works for "legitimate" telemarketers. If you think about it, there is no way the government or various phone companies would be able to identify scam artists unless they have been reported. If calls like this bother you enough, don't vent here. Report it to the FCC.
