It was just blank air. I hung up. I am on the Do Not Call List. We also don't ever receive calls on this phone except for the occasional telemarketer, so I was suspicious. Sure enough that's what it was.
SCAM! This number called my 83 year old mother's phone claiming that "when you are online we are noticing error reports on your computer". Stupid bunch of [***] that can't even speak english...my 83 year old mom doesn't even have a computer... scammers/hackers will do anything.
Just called my house. Indian woman who barely spoke English claiming that there was something wrong with the internet. It's a scam. If there's some strange activity on your computer, expect a knock on your door from police. Not a phone call from someone who won't even identify who they are.
Daily calls from this number. Somebody with an Indian accent (India) stating that he is calling about my computer. I immediately know this is a scam. So I reply that I do not have a computer. He immmediately wanted to challenge me so I hung up. He has been calling every day, 3-4 times a day and with his number listed as 'unavailable' at times. One time, he got angry when I said I have reported his number but that hasn't stopped him. In fact, his calls came more frequently
Phoned at 11.16 am and then phoned an hour later at 12.16 pm. Suspect a scam: saw number on screen on second occasion therefore ignored it - no one on the line on the first call. My rule needs to be: if you have a screen and can see a number only answer known numbers and enter a name for numbers that you frequently call or receive. Any number of any importance may then leave a message.
Called our Fax Line and home line all at the same time.. Indian guy explaining about all my problems with my Windows
I told him I could not tell if I had problems with Windows since there is smoke coming from the computer and screen. He hung up at that point. They call about every two weeks...
