It was just blank air. I hung up. I am on the Do Not Call List. We also don't ever receive calls on this phone except for the occasional telemarketer, so I was suspicious. Sure enough that's what it was.
Telephone fraud from a call center claiming to be Microsoft on 6/5/15.
Caller was insistent then became rude when I questioned just who he was, and I told him I do not feel comfortable
that I am talking to Microsoft so then ended the call.
They just called my house and I think she has some problems with her phone because it seems to have hung up on its own or she lost the connection. When I had a feeling it was a scammed. That you above reviews.
I received yet another call from them yesterday and decided to have fun with them this time. Pretended to turn on my computer, and when asked what I saw on the screen (after "supposedly following the instructions" ), I said Oh, screen says S-C-A-M. He got mad and called me stupid. It was amusing...waste his time for a change instead. Next time though, I think I'll hold the phone up to the smoke detector and then press the "test" button!
calls repeatedly. Often times @7:00 a.m. Answered today. Indian accented man saying he was from Windows Tech support. After telling him he had a lot of nerve calling at this hour, I hung up on him.
Called this morning asking me to do a few things on computer. I told them I am busy and my kids are in need of me do I have to pay for something, they said what was wrong with my computer 3 times!! I finally told the guy okay if you are not going to help me get rid of the errors then I have to go. He repeats himself again so I said if they are so bad then why is my computer still working fine?? I then said I have to go I don't have that kind of money he hung up!
