Also got a call from this number. It was an Asian woman saying she was American, but did not know what the term "please spell that" meant. I finally got from her that I was approved/chosen for a 5,000 grant because I have never filed for bankruptcy.
She then gave me a approval number Code to call another area cod 202 number and give this code to a certain person named Richard Parker who is supposedly a Sr Acct Manager and then they would send me the cash. sounds like BS to me :-) Actually got in trouble at work for taking the call and not hanging up right away.
Don't fall for any of it. They call and say you get loans or grants and try to get you to call other numbers with codes and you pay them money and then they send but they dont'
Not if you lived your life without regret. Crooks have auto dialer and capability to accept and receive calls from numbers listed in Attorney protective fund . And yet they acted like incompetent Chinese woman asking you for fake credit card and then they encourage you to get a green dot. I guess it's a level of sophistication to scam the half-wit in your household, keep answering those and they won't be to sheepish to murder you and burn your house.
This is definitely a scam, I just got of the phone with both F.B.I. and the fed trade comm. 1-877-382-4357. its important the you call the number I just put up to file a complaint....
they said they were offering a grant of $7000, gee I wish. they also said they were working out of Washington d.c. and to call 202-657-5031 to verify my info and release the grant money.
I keep getting calls from this number telling me I have been randomly selected to receive a government grant. I have asked 5 times now to be removed from the list and as soon as I finish that sentence, the caller just hangs up.
This is so incredibly frustrating - how can I get them to stop calling me?
I keep getting calls from this number - I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize unless they leave a voicemail. I've never received a voicemail from them. Luckily they use my Google Voice number so I just blocked them.
