I keep getting calls from this number telling me I have been randomly selected to receive a government grant. I have asked 5 times now to be removed from the list and as soon as I finish that sentence, the caller just hangs up.
This is so incredibly frustrating - how can I get them to stop calling me?
Just got a call from this number saying that the govt is giving me a grant for either $15k, $25k or $30k to start my home business or to use the money any way I want. I just have to verify some info and they gave me a grant number and to call this number (253) 245-1978. Sounds like a scam to me. It's worse than the people telling me that I'm getting an award grant for the coochie surgery I never got LOL. Thank goodness I stopped getting those 30 some calls a day. That was annoying. Anyways, I am not calling that number. You have to either give them your bank info to get the money or do some western union thing to get this money and I'm sure giving THEM money is involved for some processing [***]. I've seen these scams before. Thank goodness they called my cell phone and I can block them.
I have been getting numerous calls from multiple numbers which has been testing my temper. But when I got this call, number 40 in two days I might add, I interrupted the man talking and said could you please just take me off your calling list. His response was do you even know what I am calling for and I said no, but I did not sign up to be called (someone randomly put my number in a sign up). He then repeated himself stating do you even know why I am calling and I said no, but quite frankly I don't care at which point he proceeded to call me a b****. This is by far the most offended I have been by a telemarketing company. I hope they get discovered who ever they are. All thy do is irritate you with phone calls and try and scam you.
Second call from this group, only under a different number and this phone number is not even complete. They say they are calling from the Federal Government in D.C.
This person calls me claiming to be from washington DC. Says I have been selected to receive $7000 grant money from the gov. That I never have to pay back. I say I don't want it, he asks why, I say "cause it sounds like a scam" he then says "F@*K YOU for not saying NO up front" I'm like, I am saying No up front.. I should have hung up there.. he asks where I am, I say "you called me from the gov, u would know" to which then he read off my address.. but the wrong state... He says hes coming right over! I said " umm that would taken you about ten hours, if you are in fact located in DC" he asks how many people I live with...... I hang up, and now, he wont stop calling me from this weird 9 digit number.. and the house phone just rang also
Very thick accent, and the phone call was full of static... I hope no one ever falls for this scam
I got a call from this guy who repeated called me telling me he was coming to my house to have sex with me after I told him to stop calling me. He called over and over again and argued with my boyfriend saying he already had sex with me the night before
