I keep getting calls from this number telling me I have been randomly selected to receive a government grant. I have asked 5 times now to be removed from the list and as soon as I finish that sentence, the caller just hangs up.
This is so incredibly frustrating - how can I get them to stop calling me?
Got that same call and when I said not interested he got VERY RUDE!!! Called me back and cussed at my husband when he answered. Dose not sound real to me.
I just got a call, have gotten before but, just said OUT OF AREA with no number. Gave me same story $7000 without having to pay back OR pay taxes on, and gave me an APPROVAL CODE NUMBER, then told me to call the number 253-245-1978 immediately, and if busy keep trying until I got through. He said they would send this through Western Union. Asked me to verify only two things - if I was employed and if I was married. I told him I do not give out personal info over the phone. He said he already had my personal info and recited my address CORRECTLY back to me.
This scares me because I have had my debit card hacked several times in the last month, and had to completely change my bank account information twice.
I received a call from the number 214315966....They ask for my husband.....I ask them what it was in reference too......they said something about a $7,000 grant that I didn't have to payback......They wanted to know my age and if I was married.....I gave them the information because I didn't think they could do anything with that.....They ask if I wanted it deposited into my account or from Western Union......I was not about to give my account information to them so I said I'll take it from Western Union....They gave me a code number US114 and said to call 306 905 1443 and give them the code to confirm that it was me. I ask them how was I going to get it if it is in my husbands name......they said I could get it......so I called the number.....it never even rang but said....we're sorry but your call can not be completed at this time....please hang up and try again later......I all along figured they were a scam, but wanted to get the information so I could let other people know......believe their goal was to get my bank account information.
