Caller ID said "Home Security." I had to drop what I was doing to go to the phone, which put me in a bad mood. No one was there, a sure sign of computer dialing, so I waited. Finally a women caller (no accent) came on the line and asked "How are you today." Ah yes, the usual opening line of a telemarketer. I said I was fine till I had to drop everything to answer her call, while she didn't even have the courtesy to be on the line when I picked up. How then, I said, would I ever want to do business with such a company. I told her she was in violation of the "do-not-call" list, and that one more call from her or her company and I would see them in court. She said she was only trying to do her job. I said, so are drug dealers which doesn't excuse them from breaking the law. I then hung up.
