I got a call from home security years ago. They said they were doing a survey for the governor's office and wanted to know if I liked my home security. Then they asked more personal questions about home security and neighborhood security. I sensed a scam when finally they laughed and said thank you for the info. I called police immediately suspecting it was a thief checking out our neighborhood. Police confirmed they had issues with callers like that. The phone number was not traceable.
