Received a collect call today from this # and it asked for a credit card # stating it was a collect call from my sons friend. It has my sons friend voice on it. I knew he was going to Texas so I thought something was wrong and input my cc # but the system said it was declined which it shouldn't been. Now I am afraid that was a big mistake. Called the number back and answering message that the call couldnt be completed.
I got a call today-they left a voice mail and it was a recorder message saying that an inmate was trying to reach me. Now I see this blog about the same number calling a ton of folks-what is going on?
I received a call from this phone # at 4:30 am today. The man said his name was Willie Jones Johnson from Boston. Area code 214 is a Dallas phone number. This man said he needed help, his sister was trying to kill him. My guess is that this person was calling from a pay phone at a prison and was trying to scam money.
I have gotten numerous calls from this number and it is a guy named "Matt" claiming to be froma local college doing a study for psychology class. His questions brgan to get disturbing to me and he kept calling even after I asked him to stop. I have unplugged my phone and am considering disconnecting it altogether. I am scared that this guy somehow knows who I am or where I live even though he said it was a random call to begin with. Not sure what to do. Oh, the calls have also come up as "Pay Phone" numbers in my area.
Received a call on my cell identify this number. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. After it was done ringing, I got a voice mail message. I retrieved the message. I was from my BF calling from a pay phone. We live in Southern California. Odd considering this number is listed in Texas. [hmm...]
