Received a collect call today from this # and it asked for a credit card # stating it was a collect call from my sons friend. It has my sons friend voice on it. I knew he was going to Texas so I thought something was wrong and input my cc # but the system said it was declined which it shouldn't been. Now I am afraid that was a big mistake. Called the number back and answering message that the call couldnt be completed.
I received a phone call on my cell phone from the same number everyone is complaining about. I didn't take the call since I didn't knew it.
I received the call @ 7.02 & 7.03 pm on DEC 15 2008. returning the call back on DEC 16 2008 around noon, indeed the phone line was busy.
Honest truth the scams that are happening all over the United States and I'm sure elsewhere are getting old and tiring.
Your not safe no matter what you do and I'm sure this is a way for another business to start wanting to protect you and you have to pay for that service, UUUUGH

its apparently a common payphone number regardless of the city. either that or this 1 phone travels alot. call from the same number came from a phone n athens, ga but with a texas area code. the phone sucks too. cant hear anything they say.
I got had 3 calls from them according to caller ID at 7:07 am. There was a voice mail that went on for about a minute, sounded like someone in a little tiny plane, but there was no one talking. Creepy part is my husband flew out from VA at 7 am, and he'll be landing in Dallas (214 area code) in a few hours.
The number is coming from Little Rock, Ark. I know cause my fiance is waiting for a bus there to come home for me to pick him up. It is a payphone by the bus station.
