I just got a call from them. I am a retired Telemarketer. In Ohio it is legal to call Monday - Saturday 8AM EST-9PM EST. Sundays I think 12 noon-6PM EST. That is the rule for most states. I operated within the law. That was the norm, as well as the policy, for my company long before Telemarketing laws were in existence. We even had DNC lists before they were mandatory.I just got a call from these ding-a-lings. I get dozens of calls each week from them. I know the laws, and they should know them. I followed these laws, and they need to.
hey i got this call this morning but was still sleeping .... im from canada so i dont get it if they think i have US medical bills that needs to be paid because i dont???? not getting it......
They make it sound like it is urgent. Then when you respond, the person is rude and tries to out talk you when you tell them they have a wrong number. Please note: into day's environment, many people are having problems, but these agencies should make sure they are contacting the correct person. Just because you have the same last name does not mean this is the right person. Also, what happened to "do not call"????
