I noticed I had a voicemail here at work, which was odd. The phone never rang. When I went to listen, there was no message. The caller id stated this number and when I did a quick google search, I found this site. Very odd!
This number called wanting to verify navigtation for GPS tracking. Very heavily accented. I asked what it concerned and what they needed our address for, he responded with the above. Has anyone verified this as a valid business?
Navteq, owned by Nokia. It's nice to see that Nokia is willing to hire sewer rats to keep their GPS maps up to date. One might think there are other channels available for obtaining business information... for example, paying for data compiled by the local chamber of commerce. Apparently sewer rats are cheaper. The problem of course is that the sewer rats that call us are rude [***] that suck big fat monkey balls.... once again you think Nokia, or Navtech. If the tail of a snake offends you, cut off it's head: http://www.navteq.com/ 1-866-4NAVTEQ (866-462-8837)
Received my second call today at 10:45pm. They called my residence. I don't have a business. Nonpublished phone number and I'm on the DNC list. I think I made them mad when they called the first time today. I said hello and when no one said anything, I stated why are you calling me, still nothing, then I pressed a number key on the phone and toned them out. They eventually hung up. I just added them to my call rejection list. It is a great feature offered by Qwest. It sometimes does not work for certain numbers, but it allowed me to enter this one. So, Good bye to you 2169122002!
