Today was the first time that I received a call from this number. After reading these posts, I called the business number listed here and left a voicemail that I am on the DO NOT CALL list and to not call XXX-XXX-XXXX again. We'll see if they listen...
I have just received the call from this number and she started asking about the type of business and the physical address as she was trying to verify and update my business details on GPS maps. She mentioned the name of the company as "NAVTEQ" and the website as www.navteq.com. Found so genuine and Yes, it really helps the people to locate and visit my ice cream parlor easily. You can confirm the details undoubtedly!!
Called and asked if this was a garage. Then asked if it was a home. I asked who he was. Said his name was "Jeff".He had an east indian accent. Did not sound like a "Jeff" to me.I asked who he was with. He then said a GPS company.So I kept asking questions and he just kept answering the same way. No info what so ever. I then told him he was asking to many questions and I had no idea who he represented and I hung up. Then I put the number on my 'call rejection' list.
Received a call from this number. I spoke to a woman w a very thick accent asking if I was the owner of some business. I asked her name and what her business was and she eluded my question. I asked her a question with every question she asked. I never answered her questions nor did she answer mine. I told her that I never give my information to anyone who eludes all of my questions. However, when I asked why she wanted my address she said she was updating maps for gps and navigation purposes. Ummm, ok so tell me who you are. With that said, I told her again she was too elusive and was undeserving of my info and hung up. I then called the number back only to get a vm that I could not even understand what they said due to heavy accent.
