SATURDAY 01/07/2012, I CALLED 216-912-2002 AND THE RECORDING VERIFIED WHAT THE AGENT TOLD ME WHEN THEY CALLED ON FRIDAY, 01/06/2012, THAT THEY ARE INDEED ACQUIRING INFORMATION FOR GPS ACCURACY, THIS PARTICULAR COMPANY IS LOCATED IN CLEVELAND OHIO AND APPEARS TO BE LEGITIMATE, HOPE THIS HELPS !
The other posts were from 2007 but they called my cell twice in the past week.. heavy accent (possibly Indian) asks "Is this a bank?" and when told no, they keep asking questions/talking.

Jan 9, 2012 (Reuters) - Indian computer services firm Mahindra Satyam said it had filed a lawsuit against past directors, some ex-employees and former auditor Price Waterhouse, seeking damages after the company was hit by a fraud in 2009 that became the country's biggest corporate scandal.
Mahindra Satyam, previously known as Satyam Computer Services, said on Monday the suit filed in a court in the southern city of Hyderabad sought damages for "inter-alia perpetrating fraud, breach of fiduciary responsibility, obligations and negligence in performance of duties".
Ramalinga Raju, founder and former chairman of Satyam, shocked investors in January 2009 when he revealed that the company's profits had been overstated for years and that assets allegedly worth more than $1.5 billion had been falsified.
Indian IT firm Tech Mahindra, part of the Mahindra Group, bought control of Satyam in an auction in April 2010 and renamed it Mahindra Satyam.
We got a couple of calls from this number. We do not know anyone from Ohio. After looking up info about this number, it seems to be fraud and indirectly coming from another country.
I want those calls to stop.
I've got a call from this number as well, they have been asking questions about my restaurant. what kind of food we serve and if we have a dine in and if it was casual or fine dining restaurant? then i stopped the person and asked why he was asking so many questions and he explained that they were calling on behalf of a mapping company called NAVTEQ and they update all these details on their GPS navigators. I have asked what does this has to do anything with what type of restaurant i had? the person told me that they classify restaurants as take away restaurants, fast food centers and dining restaurants. so i was convinced by his explanation and visited www.navteq.com. This company provides services for car navigation systems to mobile phone GPS systems.
Same thing here, she called with a heavy accent and started asking questions if this was a business, wanted to know if it was home or business and had the address. I did not offer her any answers.
