Call from A. Davenport last night around 9:00 pm. Man said he was with the fraternal order of police. Sounded like a lot on music and people in the background - sort of like a bar or restaurant. I told him I couldn't speak with him right now and he started laughing and hung up.
I just got one of these calls, too. Fortunately, I wasn't home, and the caller hung up on my answering machine. I figured it was someone wanting money or a politician ;)
I just got a call from 2177352128. Strange thing is that I just walked in the door from a business trip to Springfield (I'd never stayed there before). At first, I thought maybe I'd forgotten something somewhere. In case it would help track the origin of these calls, my only transactions were at the Springfield Hilton, the Springfield municipal garage and a Subway in Chenoa, IL.
