Another DAVENPORT A call for us. I'm guessing that it's like everyone else...a "gimme some money" call. Lately, when we do answer calls like this, we've tried to say that we address charities on-line, and do it quarterly. Numbers like this end up sending a bill, acting like you made a donation. We've given up on the unidentified call, even though at times, it's a family member using a calling card. Our stance is, if it's important, LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!
Calls and is very rude. Calls during even hours at dinner time. Will not take no for an answer. I have insisted that he does not call again and he continues. Last thing he said "do you realize the police have to buy their own uniforms? Well, so what, no one buys my clothes for me to wear to work.
